Who we are

ClearLion Studios LLC (“ClearLion Studios”, “we”) runs clearlionstudios.com and the customer websites we build and host. Questions about this policy: hello@clearlionstudios.com.

What we collect from you

• Your email address, so we can send your receipt, your sign-in links and updates about your order.
• Your answers to our questions (your idea, who it’s for, what you’d sell, your price, your business name and area) and anything else you type into your order.
• A password, only if you choose to set one. We store a one-way scrambled version, never the password itself.
• Your order history: what you approved, change requests, comments on your preview, and payment status.
• Basic technical data: your IP address and browser details, used to keep the service secure and to limit abuse (for example, too many tries in a row).

What we collect for the businesses we host

When someone sends a message through a website we host, we store their name, how to reach them and their message for that business, and email it to the business owner. We don’t use these messages for anything else.

How we use it

• To build, preview, publish and support your website and order.
• To send emails about your order (receipts, sign-in links, “your website is live”, replies to your requests).
• To keep the service secure and working, and to follow the law.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising trackers, analytics that follow you across sites, or session recording. Our fonts are stored on our own servers.

Services we rely on

• Railway: hosts our app and database (United States).
• Cloudflare: domain name service and a robot check on our forms; it may read your IP address and device signals to tell people from bots.
• Resend: sends our emails.
• Stripe: processes payments. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us.
• We don’t currently send your answers to outside AI services. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and orders while your account is open. Ask us to delete your account and we’ll delete it, except records we must keep by law (for example, payment records).

Your choices and rights

• Download your data any time from your order page (“Download my data”).
• Ask us to correct or delete your information: email hello@clearlionstudios.com.
• Turn off non-essential emails with the unsubscribe link in them. Emails about your order still come, because they’re about something you asked for.
• Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Union), you may have more rights. Email us and we’ll help.

Children

Our service is for adults 18 and older. It isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child gave us information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top and, for big changes, tell signed-in customers.
